Join CAPMT
MEMBERSHIP
There are no membership restrictions
for CAPMT. It is not necessary to have a music degree or to be affiliated with
a music school. As a CAPMT member you will automatically become a member of
Music Teachers National Association (MTNA).
BENEFITS
Members receive a quarterly CAPMT
newsletter, and the American Music Teacher magazine.
Members benefit from a “Find a Teacher” service the chapter provides. Check back for a
future page for this service.
Members are eligible for national
certification. This provides recognition of teaching accomplishments and
ensures adherence to professional standards.
Members are eligible for group
insurance, including instrumental,medical,
high limit major medical, disability and life.
HOW TO JOIN
Go to the MTNA national website and become a member,
specifying CAPMT as your state organization and SDNC as your chapter.
MTNA will collect the national, state and local dues and distribute them.
